“A true friend I am.”
Life is a road you travel on. Soon enough it will be gone. You never know whom will you come across. Don’t make friends into enemies, that would be a great loss. In the future, you might need to call on someone when you are in dire lands. You look to see who could help, and no one stands. You feel alone, knowing you shouldn’t been so cold. The weight of losing friends from your past becomes a heavy load. Then in the far reaches of your view, a figure walks towards you. A shallow breath you drew. As he comes closer, tears start to flow, I told him I never wanted to see him again and told him to go. Memories of the past hit you like a shot. Memories that you didn’t want to resurface and thought you forgot. Should I tell him I don’t want him here? A spark of a feeling comes from out of nowhere. A feeling of a once raging love, all there is now is faint ember. When you last seen him, he was hurting as you remember back then. Feelings start to stir from within. Why does he want to help me I cause him so much mayhem. He lifts your lowered head said, “A true friend I am.”
