Drawn
Swept along life's sinful stream,
I searched for pools of respite there;
Swimming, balking at the tide
At loss for rescue, there I cried.

I then saw souls along the shore
All hailing those within the fray.
Safe harbors here within your reach,
The Master bids you come and stay.

He stays the storm and calms the sea,
He's paid the price upon the tree.
He drew this weary soul to shore,
All safe from harm forevermore.

Now I hail to those in need.
Drawing those who'll hear and heed.
Where once I foundered helpless... lost;
I call to those, Christ paid the cost.
