Water from the streams
thunder from the clouds.
Sparks that light your dreams
just sleep, hours and hours.

That kiss, forget me not
in life we loved so much.
The passing of the haze
we glow to float away.

Open our wings to fly away
these scars of life we've paid.
So sweet but full of pain
We lived to try again.

TS...this  is a beautiful piece of work dedicated to those gone on. There's many that I miss..but it serves to remind me to appreciate the ones left behind.

Lovely job!

Feels like you have captured the essence; and you acknowledge that perhaps this "trip" isn't all there is.
Very good write!!!
