From the rolling mountain's To the Kentucky bluegrass Is a place i call home Where children are free to roam With farm's rich in land People willing to lend a helping hand To help spread the seed In a time of need Mama on front porch sipping on iced tea And daddy on tractor, plowing the crop's Where the bunny rabbit's hops Hand wash sheet's drying in the summers breeze Bare feet, and dirty knees Kid's playing down by the creek Hearing Mama calling...YA'LL come and eat! Hot biscuit's,and apple butter so sweet Night time falls, and the coyote calls House filled with love Us kid's knowing we was loved Listening to Daddy's story As Mama rocks in her glory All grown-up, with kid's of my own I still go back to that place i call My Kentucky Home

Thats the way I feel about North Carolina. I was in your fine state many years ago and you are right, it is mighty fine and I fell right in love with the good ole country people there. Keep right on writing and keep on loving....Poetman
