Natural Love (Mother's Nature)
The world could not compare to the love you have shared More soft the gentle touch of Your hands than the embrace of the warm delightful sun So much more sweetly loving than the beautiful blue sky I look up to so often More comforting than the night with the brightness of the stars and moon Shining down on me and my path Reassuring me of where I need to go The kisses of your caring lips more precious to me than the summer air The sound of your voice is more soothing than the peaceful spring rain that pleasantly falls Washing away all of filth and grime collected on My wearied body after all the turmoil I have encountered Sweeter and more refreshing than the smell of the ageless flowers that have the ability to Stop me on my path So I may take in the wonderful aroma that exists around me More encouraging than the words of the autumn wind that guides me to the correct course when I fall Leading me toward the wonderfully warmer seasons that lie ahead So much more invigorating than the cold winter air your speech which awakens me when I seem to lose myself in the dead of winter And these are the reasons why my love for you could never be replaced The beauty of the world does not compare to your astounding love that has kept me all these years
Author's Notes:
This is for my mother, my grandmothers, and my step-mother. Four of the most wonderful women alive.
