Star Racer
Up in the beautiful night above earth and just below heaven in the stars my mind races free, far from this human ashamed.

The trust I once gave away has been shattered so completely like a glass rose on a wooden floor; my friends now keep knocking on this unopened door.

To let them in I see as a flaw for they will all see my weaknesses and hurt me some more.

If love is a rollercoaster then Iím sick of this ride, I drift into darkness swept away by itís tide

I watch from the outside their troublesome lives, Iíll watch from the shadows with these curious eyes.

My advice never noted until itís too late, I will keep running forever just to hit that last gate.

Thinking of leaving my emptiest threatÖÖÖ.

Always retreating my biggest regret.

(To everyone on this site who inspired me)

friendships a hard one, if all that ever happens is you get hurt over and over... its gonna get harder and harder to be open and truthful to any one... just one of those things i gess....... and the point of this yeah your poem rocked. your poems never stop absolutly shocking me that some one could use words in such a honest but almost hidden way.

neat poem. but friends are what life is about and a true friend wont hurt you so open the door and take chances thats the way we grow. we get hurt but we also gain friends. kinda of a better to have love and lost deal.
