An Eternal Journey Home
Will you follow me to the ends of the earth?
To a place where once you were given birth,
Where sunshine and rain and all feeling
Just disappear, and your mind is left reeling.

A light, a ray,
has all but passed away,
and the edges fray,
But today I'll follow you home.

Come walk with me on the path past the sun,
And feel your universe become undone,
As we reach that point where the sun is set,
But seems like it's rising, erasing regret.

A night, a day,
has all but passed away,
and the edges fray,
But today you'll follow me home.

So when we close that infinite circle at last,
And time has remade us feeling no longer outcast,
I'll take you by the hand and give you a kiss,
That is the moment I look forward to with bliss.

A fight, a fay,
has all but passed away,
and the edges fray,
But today we'll follow each other home.
Author's Notes:
This is a poem about lots of things, but you'll have to figure them out yourself ;) Some of it is inspired by a couple of 311 songs, a point for getting each of the songs right, tee hee :) oh and if you are wondering 'fay' is actually a word, it can mean a faerie, faith or a joining together

I truly enjoyed reading this poem. I loved how it flowed, and how it rhymed. This poem has many meanings to me...I love that. Great job! Keep it up.

well, This is nice even if I can not entirely figure it out. seems to me to be about love, maybe, a lost love, that needs to find her way... whatever the flow is awesome!
