Little Lies
I know words are lies,
They hide what's inside;
A deadly sting of surprise
When the truth is spied.

I know kisses are lies,
They're only on the surface,
Under a cunning disguise
Of some deeper purpose.

I know sex is a lie,
Thought it went so deep,
Now I only want to cry,
And feel such a creep.

I know it was a lie,
But still I'll go on,
Till the die I die,
Pretending I am wrong.
Author's Notes:
Just a little ditty about lies ;)
