Lullaby
I'll sing you to sleep,
Oh angel of mine,
With words on a page,
Sweet line after line.

A song of ink and paper,
Two opposites together,
A juxtaposition blending
This love forever.

And so when the words end,
And you are at rest,
This friendship is forged,
This binding is blessed.

As long as you read,
As long as I write,
We'll stand together,
Outlasting the night.

"I'll sing you to sleep,
Oh angel of mine..."
Sings this angel of yours,
As our souls entwine.
