Separate Tonight
Just take my hand,
Feed this racing pulse,
And separate tonight;
Forget everything else.

This is our intimate duet,
With an audience of none,
Our fates entwined
Till the night is done.

Now we are alone;
Together and wild,
Discovering those lips
So tender and mild.

Right now you are mine
And I, I am yours,
Thinking of bedrooms
Behind locked doors

Reach over and kiss,
Exchange a caress,
Ignore tomorrow;
The impending mess.

Tonight is just tonight,
So lets make the best,
And we'll let the future
Take care of the rest.

So my angel for a night
I want to feel your bite,
For tomorrow's scars
Seem like daytime stars.
Author's Notes:
A poetic one-night stand perhaps, maybe something more... tee hee ;)
