How do I say good bye,
In what way?
Before it has become that grievance day,
How do I let go,
Of some one I have loved so?
Just one more day, or one more year,
To be with one Iv'e loved so dear.
Our time has come to an end,
And we have lost, a cherished friend.
I shed no tears from my eye,
For you to see as you die.
Just a smile, so you know,
When you are ready,
It's ok to let go.
Letting go hurts me so.
But I see the pain in your face,
And I know you are going,
To a better place.

Adding this to my favourites, it touched my heart. Tragically beautiful.

Jerry, how do you let go, and how do you continue to cling to memories and and at the same time try to erase them? This was such a reflection on life..
