Missing You
It will be four weeks,
On Friday.
Seems like a lifetime.
It is
Four weeks more than yours.
I can still hear your voice,
That will never speak again.
I can still see you:
Hands, that no longer hold,
Feet, that no longer walk.
Instants of time,
Frozen memories,
Are all that remain,
Wish you could say why,
But words no longer mean anything.
It will be four weeks,
Four weeks too many.
Author's Notes:
It's more than two years now, but I'd give up all the good things since then to wind things back, I'll c u when I get there my friend...
