Heaven's Song
"May I have this dance?"

He seeks me out to ask

I watched as He walked towards me

I trembled as He reached to take my hand

I gazed deep into His eyes

I saw tenderness, love, and understanding

He read my thoughts, saw my heart

He knew me so well, every part

My eyes welled up with tears

As I realized He knew all my fears

My hurts, my pain - none were a mystery

"Why do you desire what

no one else wants?" I asked

"You are beautiful to me, my darling," He said

The others, they just look at the outer part

I look at your broken, but lovely heart

Because you alone have said yes to me

You alone are following after me

I see you watching me

Out of the corner of your eye

Wanting to know if you're doing anything right

There is nothing else you could do

To make me love you more than I do

So take my hand, and come along

Together we'll dance to Heaven's Song.

a very tender touch...a gift when someone  looks deep and sees the valuable things in your heart.
