When we met in June this year ....
There is a thousand things about you

that make me look your way

And a thousand more to add to that

that make me want to stay

It's the way you touch my shoulder

with your strong but gentle hand

It's the way you hold me close

and I know you understand

Your eyes are like two emeralds

like your smile they shine so bright

I'm thinking of you always

every day and every night

When we met in June this year

I always thought it would be like this

I knew you as my lover

and the person I mostly missed

We went to all the places

with hands in hands together

I kissed you all over

enjoyed the rainy weather

We made love in the sunshine

and made love in the moonlight

I always felt overheated

with you life seems so bright

I have your gift with me now

I'll try to take care of him

We'll live with him in old age

love each other for all the days missed

My love for you is just so strong

it's hard to comprehend

But it will survive most anything and

I'll love you to the end.
