On My Horizon (*A Sonnet*)
Love was all I ever had to hope for;
Looking past my youth to the horizon.
Hopefulness caused my naive heart to soar;
Caused me to be reckless and too brazen.
Suddenly, there was darkness upon me;
Hovering, unwelcome in its daring.
The horizon that I once saw so plainly
Was lost in a shroud ever confusing.
Almost imperceptible, a dawn came.
Upon its level lines appeared a man.
Shards of brilliant light broke through my heartís shame.
To that horizon my journey began.
Like night to day, my escape from despair;
I look to your dawn and find myself there.

Oh my goodness. I'm so glad. This is still truly beautiful, Dori. Thank heaven we're allowed to change our horizon as time goes by, and thank heaven when we've found our Chad. Well done. ML (This is just in case you wanted a second opinion.)_

Beautifully crafted Dori. The idea of searching for and finding love is expressed very eloquently.
