Mozart's Melodies

Music of the river cascades
waterfalls of wonder
Brings nocturnal bliss
to ease troubled times
Lends magic to weary ears
to calmly cleanse away cares
A musical crescendo
rises and falls
Soothing sounds slip
into consciousness
Minds implode in B-flat major
with mesmerizing melodies
Spun silk should be so smooth
Tranquil thoughts pervade
Tension fades
as subtle sunsets slowly
slip away...

What an absolutely lovely piece of work. Your phrasing always amazes me. I love this. You will not be surprised to know I'm taking it as a favorite. It's perfect; "Spun silk should be so smooth". ML

A poem of excellence...beautiful alliterations and an uncontrived the river.
