Crying Out to Silence
This heart will shatter

The pieces then lost

My eyes will be swollen

I will cry out to silence

And get no answers

To hear a voice

To see a face

A second of comfort

To know Iím not alone

In this world

That shows me no interest

With these people that just cause problems

In a life worth not living

I sit alone on a couch

Finally able to cry

No one to cry out to

No one to speak to

Just a bunch of silence

Only me crying

Into the cushions

In pain

With no help

I'm sorry sweety, and though you're probably going to scoff at me for saying this, you aren't alone. So many people have gone through the same things and there are people who will listen and try to help. Though it may be hard to find them, they're there. You've just got to look.

Dear Summer-
I must say that I was so impressed by the
letter you sent me-
Being one who also listens to many others
problems let me assure you that you can not just turn it off and on as much as there are
times you wish you could-
The worst part about being someone built like you are is when life is busy giving you
problems and so many are crying out to you
at the same time is trying to fix yourself-
Never shut down that ability to listen-
It is people just like you that realize what
reality is all about-
And please remember, You found a home here at
this site where many will listen to you when
it is tearing you down inside-
Be strong and stand firm when the winds of
change blow hard-
You may be tempted to cry at times but I
assure you that it is not in silence-
May you find the strength and peace of
Shangri~La and continue to spread it among
the others you encounter along your journey-
Best Wishes to YOU!

Hello Summer

Your words were so heartfelt and I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. Depression is such a terrible disease which needs to be show more compassion. I am always here if you would like to talk even though I am thousands of miles away.

Take care.........Sue
